An annual congress is held for one week between August and October. Each year this event is hosted in a different country. The congress comprises a business meeting, which elects officials and administers the affairs of the Association, a concentrated business tour of garden centres and an excellent social programme.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We have just returned from a remarkable few days in Tokyo for the IGCA Spring Administrators and Board Meeting. A sincere thank you to the Japanese Garden Centre Association for their extraordinary generosity as hosts, and to the Board and Administrators who travelled from fifteen countries to be there. This association is a truly special family.
